it's not interesting really, but i wanted to say that the point of this bit in the story is to get to know book guy a little bit- he is not seen often, and unlike showing perosnality thorugh narrative like the other characters, i tohught this would be a nice way to do things.

as a matter of fact, i really hate it in shoujo mangas/comics as well, when all the characters can talk about is the subject at hand (love) or exams XD; altohugh, that is not to say the comic is not good for that reason- it just becomes unbelivable and annoying for me personally, (i'd say it's just an annoyance to me only) as i am a big fan of conversation in characters and in real life! really i'm one cynical over-logical person or something.;

my faveourite chick flick movies have to be 'when harry met sally' and 'you've got mail'- because all characters in these films seem more real, they talk about more than just love, like we all do =) this i suppose, is my failing attempt to re-create that amazing writing! though, i did not pull it off. I hope at least i can acheive this a little bit.

Striped Orange Socks

Knighty-night, I feel exactly the SAME~!

I try my best to never include internal monologues or have my characters talk about just one mega over-the-top drama-thing-stuff. Nope. I usually take the conversations of my friends and try to lace it in somewhere. It makes it so much more believable, really, and I love that you have the same view.

I looooove book guy. I smell FANART on the horizon~

I'm commenting backwards XD Anyway. OMG BOOKMAN is SO kakkooiiii! Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a big superstar who's good at sneaking past the crowd =D I love how grown up and adult he behaves, such a cool contrast to Penelope.

Oh, I hate it when all that people talk about in shoujo is love, as well. Especially if all the female lead does is whine and gripe about her love life. If I had friends like that, I'd slap her silly -.-

I'm not sure where Prank is (haven't heard from him in awhile, no comic updates, etc...) but I know I speak for both of us when I say thanks! =D We're thrilled to see people take such an interest in our work. ^^
